(S3E17) Pack Dynamics: A Teen Wolf Podcast - Silverfinger

You know what Teen Wolf needs more of? Lore.

In 3×17, "Silverfinger," we flash back in time to Chris Argent's first real gun deal, learning he's had more experience with the Oni than anyone expected. The Argent side of the McCall pack look to find an old contact named Katashi, who may have Very Important Lore And Information. In return, Chris plans to give him an old French rifle… which turns out to be a weapon used to murder a werewolf (huh, I wonder if that'll come back later).

Meanwhile, the McCall side of the McCall pack is trying to protect Scott from getting attacked by the Oni, and it's going swimmingly. Stiles is exhibiting all kinds of anxiety-inducing behavior, startlingly similar to a list of symptoms exhibited by his now-dead mother.

Agent McCall threatens the Sheriff and ends up with a gnarly shoulder wound (unrelated), Stiles checks himself into the hospital and ends up calling Melissa "mom" (unrelated), and, when approached by the Oni, Stiles seems to be the only one who can stop it before it draws the kanji on his head.

Weird. Probably nothing.
